Broadcast Services International (BSI) has a long history of providing Technical Consulting services to a wide range of clients, each with their own unique array of production challenges. As a result, BSI and its employees have been acknowledged and awarded by a governing body and leading industry association, for their contribution to the end result.
BSI has perpetually risen to the occasion and delivered the ‘know-how’ to ‘show-how’ experience and skill-set to meet individual clients, broadcast partners and all stakeholders expectations.
Over the years and on numerous occasions, BSI has fulfilled the responsibilities of “Host Broadcaster”, a role which involves ongoing consulting with numerous stakeholders – resulting in prioritized layers of expectations, deliverables and associated project deadlines.
For example, in partnership with CBC Radio-Canada, BSI was awarded “Host Broadcaster” to the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games, which included, technical integration of all venue infrastructure and the associated build of the International Broadcast Centre (IBC).
On numerous occasions, BSI has performed the role of “Host Broadcaster” and provided consulting services to several large scale events, such as; Tour of Alberta 2014, as part of the UCI America Tour, 2013 Whistler World Ski & Snowboard Championships, 2012 World Cross-Country Championship, Canmore AB., as well as an Educational Institution, Niagara College, and many other groups and organizations.
BSI representatives fulfilled leadership and site management roles at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. In addition, BSI worked closely with its affiliate, Broadcast Systems & Equipment, to build the IBC and studio facilities for the 2016 UEFA European Championship, Paris. Also, BSI provided technical services for the 2015 World Track & Field, IAAF Championships, Beijing, and Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics – just to list a few.
