President
With a track record of eleven Emmy Awards, Jim Eady is a trailblazer in the industry. As the founder of BSI, he embodies a passion for pushing the boundaries of creative technical engineering. Jim embraces the newest broadcast systems, having been a technical producer for every sports venue imaginable!

BROOKE EADY
President
Brooke brings a unique blend of technical expertise, management prowess, and a passion for excellence to our dynamic team.
Brooke’s journey in the television industry began as a Residential Cable Technician, providing her with valuable insights into the technical intricacies of the field. Fueling her ambition for growth, she pursued her studies in HR Management and Project Management at McMaster University, where she honed her skills and deepened her understanding of the managerial aspects of the industry.
As a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), Brooke’s expertise extends beyond the technical realm. She brings a comprehensive perspective, seamlessly merging her corporate experience in Business Administration and Operations Management with her technical background. This unique combination enriches the diverse skillset of our team, enhancing our ability to deliver exceptional results
Since 2007, Brooke has held the esteemed position of President and Partner at Broadcast Services International. Her unwavering commitment to excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional leadership have been instrumental in driving our company’s growth and success.

Shea Eady
VP of Operations
Shea, whose lifelong dedication to television and remote sports production has shaped his remarkable career.
From an early age, Shea’s passion for television was ingrained in his DNA. Since attending the Sheridan College Media Arts program, he has accumulated over twenty-five years of invaluable experience in the field.With an impressive resume that includes 10 Olympic Games, working alongside renowned Host Broadcasters such as OBS, CBC Radio-Canada, and NBC Olympics, Shea has garnered extensive expertise in delivering exceptional sports coverage on a global scale.
His immense talent and unwavering commitment have been recognized with 5 Emmy Awards, solidifying his reputation as a true industry leader. As a Partner and VP of Operations at BSI, Shea brings his remarkable skills to bear, streamlining the Equipment and Engineering Division with unrivaled precision and efficiency.
Shea’s capabilities span a wide spectrum, making him a versatile and indispensable asset to our team. From audio expertise to camera operation, robotic camera control, engineering maintenance, cable crew chief responsibilities, production management, and technical production, Shea’s well-rounded skill set ensures seamless operations and flawless execution.

Locke Eady
VP of Productions
Partner and Vice President of Production With a career spanning over fifteen years, Locke brings an unmatched wealth of experience and expertise to the table. As an integral part of BSI, he holds the pivotal role of Vice President of Production, steering our team and ensuring our clients production are seamless.
Locke’s impressive portfolio includes six Olympic Games as Technical Manager for NBC, where he displayed his unrivaled talent and dedication, resulting in multiple accolades that recognize his outstanding work. His exceptional contributions in the Olympics have earned him prestigious Emmy Awards in 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2022.
With an extensive background in playing a leading role in preparation, installation, and execution of technical requirements, Locke is a master at bringing vision to life. His expertise extends to budget creation and implementation, ensuring seamless operations and optimal utilization of resources.
Locke possesses a profound understanding of the intricate workings of the sports broadcasting industry. His knowledge and technical acumen empower him to implement meticulous plans that result in resounding success.
As a key member of the BSI team, Locke’s passion for excellence, attention to detail, and leadership inspire us to achieve new milestones.

Michael Hart
Manager of Equiptment Rentals
Michael Hart is an accomplished broadcast operations leader with over a decade of experience delivering complex, high-stakes productions across North America.
Working as a utility and camera operator on a wide range of productions; Junior Hockey all the way to NBC Olympics, he always asked the question: how does this work? This deep curiosity led Ben to dive into understanding the complexities of broadcast equipment, their function and capabilities, and the signal flows connecting them.
A graduate of the Broadcast Television & Videography program at Humber College, Ben quickly jumped into the world of mobile truck engineering. With experience in building and upgrading various mobile units, Ben has worked as the engineer in charge on countless events, such as Men’s Gold Cup, Copa America, and Major League Soccer.
As Director of Technical Operations at Broadcast Services International (BSI), Michael oversees all technical logistics, equipment management, and warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution for both domestic and international broadcast projects.
Since joining BSI in 2014, Michael has played a key role in shaping the company’s technical capabilities. With a strong foundation in live sports production—including work on events such as the NBA All-Star Game, the PGA Masters, and Major League Baseball—he brings a deep understanding of broadcast workflows and operational excellence to every project.
Michael is a trusted partner to clients, collaborating closely with production teams to assess technical requirements, develop customized solutions, and deliver consistent, high-quality results. His strategic insight and hands-on leadership ensure that BSI remains a reliable and innovative broadcast partner in an ever-evolving industry.
He is a graduate of Mohawk College’s Broadcasting – Television & Communications program and continues to stay at the forefront of industry advancements through ongoing technical development and leadership engagement.

Brodie Bartlett
Director of Sales
Brodie Bartlett holds degrees in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Durham College, as well as Broadcast Videography from Humber College.
His career began with NBC Olympics on their cable team, leading to freelance roles in the industry where he served as a venue utility, Camera Operator, Jib Operator, Steadycam Operator, and Fiber Technician. Following this, Brodie gained experience with Rogers and later Global TV in Toronto, operating their news systems utilizing VIZ, MOS, and Telemetrics technologies. He has since transitioned to the sales and business development sector, currently leading the sales team at BSI.

Patty Warren
Finance Manager
With over 27 years of experience in finance management, Patty is a seasoned professional specializing in accounting, finance, business management, and HR functions.
Patty has been an integral part of the Broadcast Services International team for 17 years, joining in 2008 as Finance Manager. In her role, she oversees financial operations, manages the accounting department, and supports overall business management.
Patty’s business expertise and experience extends to privacy standards—particularly within the sports broadcast and media production industries. She brings a deep understanding of business principles and confidentiality, ensuring that sensitive information is handled with the utmost care. Her extensive knowledge of financial obligations, regulations, and legislation makes her an invaluable asset in driving the organization’s financial health and compliance.
Her strategic mindset, combined with her meticulous attention to detail, ensures smooth financial and HR operations across the organization.
Committed to continuous personal and professional growth, Patty regularly attends business and industry-related webinars and enjoys ongoing, lifelong learning. She holds a Diploma in Accounting and Business Management, alongside updated studies at McMaster University.
Patty’s extensive background in finance, HR, and privacy standards, coupled with her dedication to excellence, positions her as a key contributor to the BSI team.

Ralph Grohmann
Broadcast Engineer
Ralph Grohmann graduated from Mohawk College in 1985 as an Electronic Engineering Technologist and started his career at CHCH-TV in master control, eventually transitioning to the mobile division.
This experience provided him with extensive knowledge of broadcast technology, mobile production units, and live broadcast workflow. Ralph further expanded his expertise working with Olympic Broadcast Services and later served as a Senior Arena Technical Manager for the NHL. Currently, Ralph leads our Airpack & Facilities division and is widely respected as a top- tier broadcast engineer.

Travis Nadeau
Broadcast Engineer
With more than 25 years of experience in the industry Travis brings a breadth of knowledge to any project. He has played a crucial role in major events such as the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cups, UEFA Euro Cup, and other large broadcast projects.
Travis excels in providing end-to-end service for clients with complex broadcasting requirements by seamlessly integrating design, construction, and maintenance of facilities. His expertise in IBC design, infrastructure planning, and facility integration contributes a unique skill set to our team.
